Golf
Hillcrest Country Club is distinguished by a proud golfing heritage and timeless tradition. Designed in 1929 by renowned architect William A. Tucker Sr., the course welcomed early competition from legends of the game, including U.S. Open champion Walter Hagen and Open Champion Horton Smith. Over the decades, Hillcrest has continued to serve as a stage for notable tournaments and memorable events, including an iconic match featuring Arnold Palmer and Gary Player.
Mature, towering trees and a serene, out-of-town ambiance set Hillcrest apart from today’s modern layouts. The classic 18-hole course features a nearly 600-yard par five, a demanding pair of short par threes, and comprehensive practice facilities, including a 500-yard driving range and impeccably maintained putting and chipping greens. Combined with exceptional course availability, these amenities make Hillcrest a pure and enduring test of golf—one designed for those who truly appreciate the game.
Aquatics
Our members have a great swimming facility at Hillcrest Country Club. Our pool provides a social environment and a first-class swim & dive team in addition to our exceptional swim lessons program. Hillcrest is the home of the Hammerheads swim and dive team, with over 100 children participating in the summer recreational swim and dive leagues. City champions since 2009, the Hammerheads have a long tradition of success, and our members and their families have summers full of memories that will last a lifetime.
Tennis
The Club's Tennis program emphasizes the importance of fundamental development, strength training and enjoyment. We strongly believe we have the finest and most complete lesson program offered in the area. We have lesson programs for adults and juniors of all levels and ages from beginner players to competitive team tennis players. We offer a full calendar of social and special events that complement the Club's entire tennis program.
Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is the perfect setting for everything from a romantic dinner for two or a formal wedding in our Grand Ballroom. The Clubhouse is the location for many of our cocktail parties and special events. Whether you're here for an event or a casual dinner with friends, the food, the staff, and the atmosphere will leave you wanting to come back for more.
